Alex Li

Alex Li is a freshman currently attending Duke University from America’s finest city, San Diego, CA. He is currently serving as InnoWorks’s Corporate Relations Officer. He is planning to double major in Biomedical Engineering and Economics, eventually going to business school and working on the business side of a biotechnology company. He graduated with distinction in the top 2 percent of his class from La Jolla High School. At La Jolla High School, he served as the President of California Scholarship Federation and was selected as a Seymour Memorial Winner in 2005. He was also his school recipient of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Medal. He ran on the high school track team and was awarded a varsity letter.

At Duke, he is participating in a volunteering program, working at the Emergency Department of Duke Hospital. He is also involved in extracurricular activities such as SmartHouse and intramural sports. He is currently serving as an Executive Vice President of East Campus Brown House Council and has organized many events. Alex made the Dean’s List in fall of 2005; he likes to balance out his academics with other aspects of college life. His interests include short distance sprinting, watching and playing football and baseball, and cooking.
