Jessica Manson
Chief Administrative Officer

Jessica Manson is currently a junior from South Carolina in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University, double majoring in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering. At Duke, Jessica serves on the Executive Board of the Duke’s Society of Women Engineers chapter as the Community Outreach Chair, in which she coordinates community activities promoting math and science to young female and minority students. Also, she has worked on the Duke University Motorsports team (Formula SAE), where she assisted in the design and construction of a Formula One racecar by developing prototypes using computer models. Jessica also works on the LED Lighting team for the DELTA Smart House Project at Duke, in which she researches energy efficient lighting technologies and plans for a “smart house” to be built on Duke’s campus.
During the summer of 2001, Jessica worked as a research intern in the Mechanical Engineering department at the University of South Carolina, where she conducted research on a camless engine. In the summer of 2002, Jessica represented the United States at the 2002 Korea-US Science and Engineering Summer Camp in South Korea. In Korea, she promoted international cooperation between the two countries and assisted in DNA research. She has also worked as a camp counselor at the first Sally Ride Science Camp at Stanford University during the summer of 2003. Jessica is excited about working with InnoWorks and contributing to its success!
