Marilyn Le graduated with honors from Elizabeth Seton High School in Bladensburg Maryland in 2005 and is currently a freshman Biology major at the University of Maryland College Park. She is head of child recruitment and on the curriculum committee for the University of Maryland CP chapter of InnoWorks

At Elizabeth Seton, Marilyn took on leadership roles her junior year as class treasurer and her senior year as class treasurer again as well as vice president of the student council. She was also involved in the Scholars club, Marian Service club, the Roadrunner Newspaper, and the National Honor Society. Marilyn played lacrosse all four years and ran on the cross country team her junior and senior year.

During high school, Marilyn was very involved at St. John the Evangelist Church in Silver Spring, Maryland. She was an officer of the youth group for 4 years, a member of the confirmation team her junior and senior year, the youth representative to the Parish Advisory Council her junior year, a youth lector for three years, and coordinator of the youth lectors for her junior and senior years. In addition, she performed over 300 hours of community service by participating in Catholic Heart Work Camp, Special Olympics, and performing in various Marian Service Club activities.

For the past year, Marilyn has also spent her time working at Bd’s Mongolian Barbeque of Bethesda as a griller, hostess, and server.
