Matan Setton

Matan Setton is a Biomedical Engineering major at Duke University.  He attended Plainview Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School, where he graduated in 2003. Matan played one year of junior varsity tennis in addition to being a member of the varsity swim team for four years.  In addition, Matan enjoys sky diving and rock climbing.  Matan is a Pratt Undergraduate Research Fellow and works for Dr. Roger Nightingale in the Injury Orthopedic and Biomechanics Laboratory, studying the constitutive properties of the pediatric synchondrosis.  Matan has volunteered at the hospital and has spent the past couple of years shadowing two pediatric neurosurgeons.  He is very interested in medicine and hopes to go to medical school.  This is his second year participating in InnoWorks.
