Stephen "Andy" McCullough attended Louisiana State University where he majored in Biological Sciences and minored in Chemistry and Music Performance. While at Louisiana State, Andy was a mentor for the LA-STEM program, where he mentored minority students majoring in the STEM disciplines. The program's goal is to to help disadvantaged students succeed in their coursework by instilling valuable learning strategies and time management skills, and encourage these students to pursue a terminal degree in their field of study. As a part of this program, Andy helped promote race relations on the LSU campus and mentored several students which now work for Chemical Engineering firms or are enrolled in doctoral programs across the nation. Also at LSU, Andy was a section leader for the Sudler Trophy winning Golden Band from Tigerland. In this position, Andy taught and oversaw twenty six students in musicality, marching, and leadership skills.

Andy is currently a first year medical student at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY.
