Greg Serrao

Gregory Serrao completed his undergraduate studies at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science in Art where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Engineering, with honors. He also completed his Masters of Science in Engineering at Columbia University. Gregory is currently a first year medical student at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and is in charge of public relations and student recruitment as an Innoworks chapter is being established at Mount Sinai.

In addition to Innoworks, Gregory is also a volunteer for MedDocs, a program which teaches high school students basic anatomy and physiology of the heart. He is a student researcher in the Division of Critical Care in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai and in the Division of Acute Care Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Columbia University.

As an undergraduate Gregory was actively involved the Health and Safety Services division of the American Red Cross in Greater New York where he held the position of CPR/First Aid Instructor Trainer for 3 years. He was also a volunteer EMT with the Central Park Medical Unit in New York City.
