Edward Cheng2011 Senior Advisor, 2010 Director
Edward Cheng is a current Duke University Senior majoring in Biology with a concentration in Pharmacology and a minor in Chemistry. Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, Edward graduated with the class of 2006 at Taipei American School, where he served as the Treasurer of his class and the Editor-in-Chief of his newspaper the Blue&Gold. He was also the captain of both the cross country and track and field teams, and represented the school in both sports at competitions hosted by the International Association of Southeast Asian Schools (IASAS). During this time, he was named MVP of the cross country team, broke the school's triple jump record, and won gold medals in the triple jump, long jump, and distance medley at the IASAS championships.
Edward's current endeavors include research under the guidance of Dr. Cynthia Kuhn in an effort to understand changes in neural pathways and sensitivity when adolescent and adult rats are exposed to cocaine.
