Kelly Kang

2012 Co-Director, 2011 Deputy Director, 2010 Mentor and Public Relations Chair

Kelly is a junior at Duke University majoring in Biomedical Engineering and in premed track. She was born and raised in Seoul, Korea until her family moved to Logan, Utah in 2004. Kelly attended Logan High School where she was involved in Math Club, MESA, Swing Dance Club, Musical, and Academic Olympiad. Her interest in science and engineering grew as she participated in Biotechnology Academy in Utah State University for two summers. She also participated in EPGY Summer Academy at Stanford where she was enrolled in “Investigations in Bioscience and Biotechnology” and became even more fond of summer camps.

At Duke, Kelly is currently involved in a human-rights organization called Vision for North Korea, house council in a cultural selective living group Langdorm, and a Korean pop-rock band called Band Unrated.

Kelly served as a mentor and a public relations chair in InnoWorks in the past two years, and she is excited for another summer and honored to be part of InnoWorks as a co-director this year.
