Rebecca Lai

2012 Co-Deputy Director

Rebecca Lai is currently a freshman at Duke University. In 2011, she graduated Valedictorian from The Webb Schools in Claremont, CA. In high school, Rebecca was actively involved with the Raymond M. Alf Museum of Paleontology, where she studied the origins of fossils from the Renova Formation in Montana. She presented her findings at the 70th Annual Meeting of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology and is first author of a paper on its way to publication.

She also served as the Vice President of the student body in her senior year and as the school's Activities Coordinator in her junior year. Finally, Rebecca was a member of the school's Community Service council and the Co-Chair of the Global Citizens Committee.
