Winnie Wang

2013-2014 Co-Chief Curriculum Officer

Winnie Wang is a rising senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in English, with a love of chemistry. She is having a lot of fun testing and designing activities that encourage InnoWorks' students to learn and love science through hands-on creation.

In her free time, Winnie likes to write, travel, and make miniatures and movies out of clay. Since high school, she has spent her summers conducting biological and chemical research with the goal of improving human health. As part of Caltech's ME105 product design class this year, she conducted field research in Ahmedabad and worked with an international team of students to design and build adjustable and affordable cerebral palsy strollers. Winnie is spending her upcoming summer at MIT's Little Devices Lab, prototyping user-based medical devices and solutions. After Caltech, she hopes to pursue a career combining health, design and fabrication.
