Christina Lin

2014-2015 Co-Director

Christina is currently a fourth year student at UC Berkeley studying Chemical Biology and Molecular Cell Biology (MCB). She have extensive experience in mentoring and teaching in K-12 education. Her passion to give back to the younger generation stems from my interests in science. Christina is also involved in Wonderworks, teaching science to elementary schools; Berkeley Engineers and Mentors (BEAM), mentoring and fueling the scientific curiosities of high school students; and facilitating, teaching, and editing for the Berkeley Medical Journal (BMJ). She also conducts cancer research, attempting to induce an epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) spectrum in ovarian cancer cells in hopes of attaining better understanding of malignancy.

After graduating, Christina plans to apply to medical school, in hopes of becoming an oncologist.
