Financial Officer-2018

I am a fourth-year undergraduate student studying Physiological Science at UCLA and I currently serve as the Chief Financial Officer for the university’s InnoWorks chapter. I developed an interest in the sciences after taking classes in high school, and it only grew after taking the courses offered at UCLA. I work as an undergraduate researcher in the Carmichael Lab, in which I study stroke recovery using mice as model organisms. I am Vice President of Best Buddies at UCLA, a nonprofit organization that fosters friendships between college students and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities around the LA area. I am involved with SCOPE Patient Health Advocates, where I connect patients with free/low-cost resources to help them with finances, child care, vision/ dental health or other needs, while also shadowing residents. I also volunteer with TimeOut, a program that allows students to play games and make connections with elders who have Alzheimer’s Disease. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the beach, listening to music and dancing. I love to spend time outdoors with family and friends, hiking or exploring new places.

InnoWorks is a Winner of the 2007 BRICK Awards
