Albert Lee

Deputy Director and Finance Chair -2018, Chief Funding Officer-2018

Albert is currently a 2nd-year undergraduate student at UC Berkeley studying Molecular and Cell Biology (MCB) and Economics. He currently serves as the Deputy Director and Finance Chair for Berkeley InnoWorks. Having worked extensively with K-6 kids in high school, he naturally gravitated towards InnoWorks which allowed him to continue to mentor and help kids nurture their interests. He specifically works to introduce STEM subjects to kids as he believes that early access is key to developing later interest and realizes not all kids have the opportunity to do so through school curricula.

When not volunteering with InnoWorks, Albert works to promote student-faculty relations on campus and studies the role of RNA in melanoma pathogenesis and treatment in the Ortiz Lab at UCSF. In his free time, he enjoys distance running, hiking surrounding hills, and anything which lets him be with his friends and peers. He hopes to study medicine and pursue research in the future to bridge the disconnect between clinical and laboratory medicine.

InnoWorks is a Winner of the 2007 BRICK Awards
