Lisa Marrone is currently sophomore at the University of Maryland. She is a transfer student from Towson University, and is originally from New Jersey where she attended Fair Lawn High School. All four years of high school, Lisa participated on the Varsity Cheerleading squad as well as the Varsity Lacrosse team. For her last two years in high school, Lisa volunteered as the Varsity Menís Basketball statistician. In high school, Lisa received high honors in her English humanities course, and her Fashion Interior Design course.
As a student at the University of Maryland, Lisa is intending to major in international business with a concentration in finance. She will be applying to the R.H. Smith School of Business at the closing of this semester, fall 2006. As a transfer at the University of Maryland, Lisa knew how important it was to meet new people. This is her first time participating in the Innoworks program, and she looks forward to being a member of this organization. She received academic honors as a member of the National Collegiate Scholars program, and she is a member on the University of Maryland Club Lacrosse team. Lisa finds enjoyment in working with other individuals whether it is in a classroom or on the lacrosse field. Lisa has previously worked in the disability services at her prior university as a personal note taker. In her pass time, Lisa enjoys reading, running, and listening to music.
