Vineet Agrawal is an Internal Medicine Resident at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
He graduated from Duke University earning a BSE as a dual major in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering in 2006, his PhD in Cellular and Molecular Pathology in 2011 and MD in 2012, both from the University of Pittsburgh. His thesis title is ECM degradation, matricryptic peptides, and stem cell recruitment.
Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Vineet was the class of 2002 salutatorian at Omaha North High School and a member of first place winning math teams in competitions at University of Nebraska at Lincoln, Southwest Missouri State University, and Creighton University. At Duke, he was the President of the Hindu Students Association and Vice President of the Interfaith Dialogue. A Pratt Undergraduate Research Fellow, Vineet worked with Dr. Gregg Trahey on a research project involving ultrasound.
