Antony Hsieh

Antony Hsieh graduated from University High School in 2005. He was a member of state champion Science Olympiad team for two years and was also the Captain of the Science Olympiad White team. He was an AP scholar with Honors and a member of the Academic Decathlon team, tennis team, Bag Hunger club and Mu Alpha Pheta Math Honorary. He is currently a freshman at the University of Arizona, majoring in Molecular & Cellular Biology and Pre-Pharmacy.

He currently volunteers with Tzu-Chi Relief Foundation, Odyssey Healthcare Hospice
and with the University Medical Center Hospital Pediatric Outpatient Unit. He enjoys research, and has been a student research assistant for the past 2 years in the university’s Biochemistry & Molecular Biophysics Department. He is also a recommended black belt at the University of Arizona Chapter American Taekwondo Association and also works as a health monitor at the University of Arizona Campus recreation center. He enjoys movies, writing screenplays, running, and playing ping pong.
