Robert Gibboni


Robert Gibboni is a Freshman studying Molecular & Cellular Biology at the University of Arizona. He is a member of InnoWorks, the Honors Student Council, and the Yuma Hall Council. Robert graduated as salutatorian from North Canyon High School in Phoenix, AZ where he was named National Merit Finalist as well as Male Student of the Year. Robert was also awarded the Flinn Scholarship, an award given each year to 20 of Arizona’s best high school seniors. For the past two summers, Robert’s love of working with children has compelled him to volunteer at the International School of Arizona’s French immersion summer program, helping 4-10 year olds learn French.

Robert enjoys studying and learning about science and playing jazz music. He has performed with the Brubeck Brothers, Wayne Bergeron, Bobby Shew, and Tom Kubis, among others. He currently plays lead alto saxophone in the University of Arizona’s Studio Jazz Ensemble.
