David Hsieh

David Hsieh is a freshman majoring in Molecular & Cellular Biology at the University of Arizona. He graduated from University High School where he was an AP scholar and a member of the Science Olympiad state champion team for two years, the Academic Decathlon team, Mu Alpha Theta Math Honorary, and tennis team. David is a volunteer for Parents Anonymous/Planned Parenthood, the Tzu Chi Buddhist Relief Foundation, Bag Hunger Club, and the Odyssey Healthcare Hospice. David currently conducts research as a student research assistant in the Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Gastroenterology Departments at the University of Arizona. He is also an active member of the Chess Club, and a recommended black belt with the American Taekwondo Association.
