Vikram Raghunathan

2008 Finance Director

Vikram Raghunathan is a junior at the University of Michigan majoring in economics and minoring in biology. This is his second year working with InnoWorks.

Vikram graduated from Salem High School in 2006 and was ranked first in his graduating class. He was captain of his high school's Science Olympiad team, and also participated in Model United Nations and Student Council. Vikram was the founder and president of a humanitarian organization called DHANI, which raised thousands of dollars for reconstruction and financial aid to impoverished communities around the world. Vikram was a National Merit Finalist and recipient of the National Youth Leadership Award, the City of Plymouth Leadership Award, and the Presidential Freedom Scholarship. Vikram was also his high school's delegate to Michigan Boy's State and received high school keys in Spanish and International Relations.

At the University of Michigan, Vikram has participated in Model United Nations, the Michigan Journal of International Affairs, Ambatana Multicultural Council, and the Indian-American Student Association, in addition to his work with InnoWorks. He is interested in global health and international relations, and hopes to work with an intergovernmental organization at some point after college. Vikram is also very interested in languages, and enjoys writing, reading, traveling, and political arguments.
