Message from the 2013 UPenn Director:

Welcome to the Penn Chapter of InnoWorks!

This summer, the University of Pennsylvania will host its seventh annual InnoWorks program beginning August 19th and ending August 23rd. We are currently in the planning stages of the program where we are looking to secure funding and sponsorship for supplies, housing, and food.

As always, Penn InnoWorks provides a free week-long science and engineering camp for underprivileged middle school students in the Philadelphia area. This year we hope to host 30 free and reduced lunch students and provide them with the opportunity to learn about science through exciting and interactive activities outside of the traditional school environment.

This summer, we are so excite to be planning the activities and missions based on the Eureka Effect curriculum. Students will explore scientific miracles that occur in every day life to understand and appreciate achievement. We will be discovering music, learn how electricity is generated, understand why soap cleans, and more!
